A white label fitness app is a coaching platform's app with your logo and colours. Your own store listing on one costs from $99 a month, and the features stay the platform's. A custom app is built around your method instead, and a revenue-share partner builds and runs one with no upfront fee.
- $99/moLowest published price for your own store listing on a platform (Kahunas Ultimate)
- $95One-time: your icon inside My PT Hub's app, still named "My PT Hub"

This page is for coaches and fitness creators who want an app under their own name. It compares renting a platform's app with getting one built for you.
For 1:1 coaching, white label is the fast, cheap tool. For selling your own method to a large audience, a custom app turns that method into a product, and a partnership removes the upfront cost.
What a white label fitness app gets you
Platforms sell two different things under the same name. Check which one a plan includes before you pay.
Your logo in their app
$95 to $169 once, on top of the plan
Own store listing Shared platform app
- Clients download the platform's app, then see your logo and colours inside.
- On My PT Hub, the name under the icon stays "My PT Hub".
- On Trainerize Pro, the iPhone app is Trainerize's shared "Fitness App".
Your own store listing
$99 to $275 a month, or a quote
Your name in the App Store Platform's features
- The app is published under your name, usually in developer accounts you open.
- It comes with top tiers: Kahunas Ultimate, Trainerize Studio, My PT Hub's add-on, Everfit Enterprise.
- Inside, it is still the platform's product.
White label or a custom app, side by side
A custom app is designed around one creator's method, with features of its own. You can pay an agency to build it, or partner with a company that builds and runs it for a share.
Fitera builds custom apps on a revenue-share partnership, so we earn from the third column. Every platform fact comes from that vendor's own website, linked in Sources and method.

| Who runs it | You, on the platform's tools | You, or the agency for a fee | The partner: updates, payments, support |
| When you leave | Trainerize's branded app is deactivated | You keep the code, if the contract says so | Depends on the partner's contract |

Agency prices: ScienceSoft quotes a fitness MVP "from $50,000". Fitera's own terms are in A custom app on a partnership.
Some just put your logo and colours inside their app, others get you a real listing in the stores with your business as the publisher. Both get sold with the same wording and the price difference is big.
What white label costs at your size
Vendors show plan cards, not what you pay at your client count. This table works it out from each vendor's published pricing, before Apple's $99 a year and Google Play's $25 once.

At 250 clients, Trainerize's Pro plans stop, so its cheapest option is Studio Plus with your own listing. Everfit keeps own listings for Enterprise, which needs Studio with 500 clients. Each platform's page has the full breakdown.
What white label can't change
A white label app is a rented product. Three limits come with it, in the vendors' own words.
The features are theirs
Trainerize describes it plainly: "we take the ABC Trainerize app … and customize it to reflect your branding". You get their features and their roadmap, in your colours.
The name can stay theirs
My PT Hub's icon option: "It will still show as 'My PT Hub' underneath the app icon". On Trainerize Pro, iPhone clients install Trainerize's "Fitness App".
It stops when you cancel
Trainerize: "If you have a Custom Branded App, it will be deactivated". Recurring products sold through it stop renewing.
What a custom app built around your method looks like
Strength coach Keegan Smith created the Dense Method. We didn't put his logo on a template. We turned the method into Dense Club, a training app with features built for it.
- Daily EMOM workouts and varied programs.
- Automatic PRs and a Force Score.
- Recovery tracking and skill trees.
- Every course, a private chat and twice-weekly calls with Keegan and top coaches.
The first version went live from zero in 4 weeks, as an installable web app with store versions coming. We also built RealMVMT, his education platform for coaches. Read the case study.
A custom app on a partnership
An agency asks for the build cost before your app earns anything. A revenue-share partner invests instead and takes a share of what the app makes, for as long as the partnership runs.
Fitera is one of these partners, and we earn from it. The others are described from their own pages, checked Sep 2026.
-
Week 1
We map your method
You set what you sell, your voice and your look. We turn it into a product plan you sign off on.
-
Weeks 2–6
We build and launch
iOS, Android, web or an installable web app, whatever fits your audience. The Stripe and store accounts are in your name.
-
Every month after
We run it, you grow it
We cover development, hosting, payments, updates and member support. You keep 50% to 70% of net revenue, fixed in the contract.
-
If you leave
Your members stay yours
After the 12-month minimum, either side can end it with 60 days' notice. Members, subscriptions and content stay with you, and our share stops.
- Transformation Challenge
- Creators "keep 70% of their subscription revenue", and joining is free (transformationchallenge.app).
- Gatra
- A "20% revenue share, no upfront or monthly platform fee" for weightlifting, yoga and calisthenics coaches (gatrafit.com).
- Foundry
- A monthly platform fee plus a 15% to 30% revenue share. The creator owns the code (builtbyfoundry.io).
- Fitera
- A custom app built around your method. $0 up front, no monthly fee, 50% to 70% of net revenue to you. The code stays with us unless you buy it out.
We invest weeks of work up front, so we choose partners carefully. We work with creators from about 20,000 followers with high engagement, and we talk to each one in person. Apply with the 2‑minute form.
Which one fits you
White label platform
- You coach clients 1:1 and program for each one.
- You need an app this month, on a fixed budget.
- Your clients care about you, not about the app's features.
Custom app from an agency
- You have $50,000 or more and can wait months.
- You have a team to run the app after launch.
- You want to own the code outright.
Custom app on a partnership
- You have a method people follow and an engaged audience.
- You want a product of your own, not a platform in your colours.
- You'd rather share revenue than pay for the build.

Questions creators ask
What is a white label fitness app?
A coaching platform's app sold with your logo and colours. On lower tiers it sits inside the platform's shared app. On top tiers it gets its own App Store and Google Play listing under your name, but the features are still the platform's.
How much does a white label fitness app cost?
$95 to $169 once for your icon inside a platform's app, on top of the plan. Your own store listing costs $99 a month on Kahunas, $204 on My PT Hub and $275 on Trainerize. Everfit quotes on request.
What is the difference between a white label and a custom fitness app?
Who designs the product. A white label app is the platform's product in your colours. A custom app is designed around your method, with features the platforms don't have.
Can I get a custom fitness app with no upfront cost?
Yes, from a revenue-share partner. It builds and runs the app and takes a share of revenue instead of a fee. At Fitera you keep 50% to 70% of net revenue, and we choose partners with an engaged audience.
Do I own a white label app?
No: you rent it. Trainerize deactivates a cancelled branded app. Export your client list before you cancel, and check what your plan's terms say about the store listing.
Sources and method
Costs use the cheapest published plan that includes each option at 25, 100 and 250 clients, on monthly billing. We checked every price on the vendor's own site on 15 September 2026, and did not use one vendor's pages about another.

- Custom apps: ScienceSoft, Transformation Challenge, Gatra, Foundry.
- Store accounts: Apple Developer Program, Google Play registration.
